That's right, those super smart Irish have done it again. Sugru is a modable plastic compound that will cure and harden after about 30 mins contact with air. This could be a nice alternative to 3d printing. FYI: I'm guessing the name comes from the Gaelic word for play "Sugra"

Using mr Lee's head tracking display concept, it is possible to change the view(of course using displays instead of windows). This might be a cheap alternative to making buildings with bad views or even windows at all.

Jao Wilbert ontwikkelde enkele jaren geleden de Exquisite Clock. In deze interactieve kunstinstallatie komen cijfers uit het dagelijks leven tot leven. Cijfers van 0 tot 9 die door wie dat wil zijn waargenomen, vastgelegd en geüpload via de website van Exquisite Clock. Uit de online database die zo ontstaat worden elke seconde at random nummers geselecteerd om de tijd weer te geven.

Op het Grafisch Design Festival Breda (van 8 tot 30 mei) wordt deze online klok als onderdeel van de expositie DECODING weergegeven op een groot scherm. Als je in de festivalperiode een door jou gefotografeerd cijfer uploadt, kun je die daarop zien verschijnen, en uiteraard ook via de website wereldkundig maken. En zo onderdeel worden van een online kunstwerk.

Dus kijk om je heen, op straat, in de huiskamer, in je studeer- of werkruimte, op de fruitschaal, in de koelkast, het bos, de wolken of waar dan ook, fotografeer een situatie die op een nummer lijkt en deel jouw visie van tijd met de mensheid. Upload hier je cijfer of download de iPhone App.
