Oh mijn god!!. Ik zit nu al 6 online episodes te kijken van de motion comic "Art of Pho", gebaseerd op de comic van Julian Hanshaw. Deze illustrator en animator heeft een gave stijl neergezet in zijn comics. Zo gaaf dat Lois van Baarle er als animation director de taak van Submarine channel kreeg om een animated versie ervan te maken.

Zowel Julian als Submarine zijn lyrisch, (ik ook overigens) over het eind resultaat. Nou ja eindresultaat, er moeten nog twee episodes vrij komen online, waar ik maar niet kan wachten.. zo mooi!

The adventures that ensue set him on a marvelous path of self-discovery.
Based on the graphic novel by Julian Hanshaw, The Art of Pho is a moving story and travelogue about friendship, love and discovering your roots, set against the backdrop of Vietnam’s bustling capital.
With animation director Lois van Baarle, Submarine Channel re-created The Art of Pho for the web, adding the dimensions ofmusic, voice acting, hand-drawn animation and interactivity to Hanshaw’s exquisitely drawn artwork. The amazing soundtrack was done by Pastelle Music and will be made available as MP3′s asap.
